Invitation

Conference on

Confronting the Continuing Palestinian Humanitarian Crisis

London 23-24 October 2007

Governments, fund and aid providers are all too aware of the dire humanitarian situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), and in the refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon and elsewhere. Many of us have confronted the humanitarian needs of the Palestinians. However, there are pertinent issues that must be addressed in order to ensure that aid programmes also go towards helping to build a strong and self-reliant society with an economy that has the prospects of recovery.

This conference is intended to be a platform for stakeholders to discuss appropriate ways forward in addressing issues that confront needy Palestinians on a daily basis. Your contribution will help enrich the discussion process and help build the capacity of Palestinians and enable them to build their future with dignity. Your contribution to the success of the conference will be greatly appreciated.

This conference is open to all individuals and organisations concerned with these issues. Please register today.
