Gaza -Spokesman of the Qassam Brigades Abu Obaida affirmed Wednesday that the Brigades general commander Mohammed Al-Dhaif was well and safe; adding that the Israeli raid on a house in Gaza has missed him as he wasnt present in the house at that time.

Israeli F-16 jetfighters unleashed air-to-surface missiles at the house of Dr. Nabil Abu Salmeyya, one of Hamas’ political leader, in the Sheikh Redwan suburb in Gaza city, leveling to the ground over heads of its tenants.

Six Palestinians were martyred as primary information revealed that Abu Salmeyya and his wife were among the fatalities, while 15 others were wounded, at least two were reportedly critical.

Another assassination attempt targeting Raed Saad, Qassam commander in Gaza city, ended in total failure as the Saad escaped the raid on his car before the Israeli missiles blew it.

Abu Obaida accused the IOA of deliberately deceiving the world’s public opinion to justify their crimes against the Palestinian civilians.

The Qassam Brigades, for their part, claimed responsibility for shelling the power plant in the 1948-occupied Palestinian city of Ashkilon with a Qassam missile, vowing to hit the Israeli installations in reciprocity.

IOF atrocities on the tiny Strip continued Wednesday as Israeli gunboats, tanks, and artillery bombarded Palestinian homes in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza Strip inflicting material damage on many homes, but no casualties were reported.

More Israeli poundings of Palestinian farms and greenhouses were reported in former Israeli settlements of Netzarim and Gush Katif in central Gaza Strip.

Five more Palestinians were killed in an Israeli air raid on Wednesday afternoon.

Palestinian lawmakers and PA ministers in the Strip paid an inspection visit to the southern district of Rafah, inviting the Palestinian populace for more patience and national unity.

Bahar affirmed that the visit was purposely made to boost morale of the Palestinian citizens and as sign of solidarity with Palestinian families driven out of their homes as a result of the Israeli invasion.

Meanwhile, number of martyred Palestinian citizens stranded at the Egyptian side of the Rafah terminal rose to five as two Palestinians, a young girl and an infant died Wednesday. The stranded Palestinians have been waiting for almost two weeks at the terminal; yet the ongoing Israeli onslaught in the Strip prevented them from entering into their country.
