Campaign Charity for Palestinians targeted

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am writing to ask for your support. Interpal, a British Charity working for the Palestinians is being targeted by Panorama, aided and abetted by the USA and Israeli governments, as part of the latter’s efforts to close down any humanitarian support for needy Palestinians.

Most of you will know that Interpal was designated by the US as a “terrorist entity” in 2003, following which the British government gave it the all-clear.

Most will also know that Interpal challenged the Jewish Board of Deputies because they also called Interpal “terrorists” on their web-site and the Board asked to settle out of court last December. The latest attack, via the publicly-funded BBC, is, we believe, a follow-on from that settlement, with the Zionist lobby infuriated that Interpal did not simply roll over and die when ordered to do so.

The proposed Panorama programme is being put together by John Ware, who did a hatchet job on the MCB last year. We have no doubt whatsoever that he is intending to try to do the same with Interpal. We also have no doubt that if the US and Israel are allowed to demonise and close down a small, relatively insignificant (in terms of money distributed – about 80p per refugee per year!) charity today, they will target someone else tomorrow. And someone else the day after…

Hence your support is needed today.

If any of you harbour any doubts about Interpal or their work, their Chairman will be happy discuss the matter with you (Tel; 07976 327119) or you can check Interpal website on .

Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

Dear George Entwistle,

Panorama and Interpal

I understand that John Ware and the Panorama team are putting together a programme looking at Interpal and the accusations that it is a front organization for Hamas. These accusations are actually old news and have been discredited on a number of occasions, not least by the results of Charity Commission investigations and the fact that the Board of Deputies of British Jews asked to settle out of court a libel claim against them lodged by Interpals Trustees; despite having support from two foreign governments, the Board cut not substantiate their description of Interpal as a terrorist organisation.

I would like to ask two questions:

1. Why is Panorama pursuing what is clearly a politically-motivated campaign against a legitimate British charity, revisiting old accusations?

2. Why is our licence money being used to pursue such an obviously Zionist-inspired campaign?

The BBC used to be the benchmark for media impartiality but a programme like this following on the heels of John Wares hatchet-job against the Muslim Council of Britain last year suggests that the Zionists have more influence at the Corporation than is generally thought.

Yours sincerely,
